Prioritar este ca rola de hârtie să corespundă următoarelor dimensiuni: lungime de 80 m, lățime de 80 mm și diametru al rolei cuprins între 7,5 și 8,0 mm. În ceea ce privește gramajul, acesta nu reprezintă un criteriu determinant, cu condiția respectării dimensiunilor indicate.
