Recomandate pentru eliminarea gazului produs de unele bacterii (enterobacterii, bacterii anaerobe) fără a contamina mediul înconjurător si pentru subcultivarea pe medii de cultura solide a flacoanelor de hemocultură detectate ca pozitive, compatibile cu BacT/ALERT.
