SLM (Selective laser melting), topirea selectivă cu laser, cunoscută și sub denumirea de topire cu laser direct a metalelor (DMLM) sau fuziunea cu strat de pulbere laser (LPBF) este o tehnică rapidă de prototipare, imprimare 3D sau fabricare aditivă (AM) concepută pentru a utiliza un laser cu densitate mare pentru a topi și fuziona pulberi metalice împreună.
