Scopul achiziției este modernizarea capabilităților de protecție a datelor din cadrul SIA112, prin înlocuirea soluției actuale de backup cu una de generație nouă, determinată de uzura morală a tehnologiilor existente, evoluția peisajului amenințărilor cibernetice (ransomware, atacuri direcționate asupra infrastructurilor critice), apariția unor noi paradigme tehnice (backup imutabil, detecție malware bazată pe AI, protecție CDP) și necesitatea alinierii la cerințele HG nr. 562/2025 privind securitatea cibernetică.
