Lacul de acumulare ,,Zagarancea,, nr. cad. 9277000.206, amplasat în raionul Ungheni satul Zagarancea, cu destinația piscicultură, agrement și irigare. Suprafața lacului este de 54.7 ha. Dat in exploatare in 1984.
La începutul anului 2024 au fost demarate lucrări de reabilitare a deversorului de ape mari (consolidare a structurii de rezistență) asigurat financiar de arendaș. S-a obținut autorizarea privind eliberarea cuvetei lacului de apă, din motivul poluării excesive a apei si a nămolului.
Au fost efectuate măsurători geodezice privind gradul de colmatare prin compararea cotelor din documentația tehnică a lacului cu cotele nămolului la suprafața după eliberarea apei, fiind constatat stratul de înnămolire de circa 1.0-1.2 m.
