Bandă de tiflon din fibră de sticlă cu dimensiunile 19mm*15m/l mai denumită PTFE este alcătuită din două straturi: primul strat din țesătură din fibră de sticlă acoperit cu emulsie de teflon și e un al doilea strat din silicon adeziv cu o bandă rezistentă la temperaturi ridicate. Banda de teflon se caracterizează prin rezistență ridicată la temperaturi înalte de pînă la 260 grade celsius, temperatura normală pînă la 260 de grade. În același timp, suprafața este netedă, cu suprafața anti-lipire, luminoasă, rezistent la toate tipurile de coroziune chimică.
